1474320 Vehicle sliding roofs DAIMLER BENZ AG 28 Feb 1975 [28 Feb 1974] 8530/75 Heading B7B A vehicle sliding roof comprises a fixed guide rail 3, 4 of U-section open outwardly in which slides a free limb 7 of a bent-over sliding rail 5, there being a U-section member 9 of resilient material inserted into the guide rail 3, 4. The limb 6 of the rail 5 is integral with or fixed to the sliding roof. The lip 13 of the member 9 is preferably rubber edged with sound damping material such as fabric or plastics material.
