When the said angle is acute intermixing of the sprays occurs 63, Fig. 9, because they have components of motion normal to the reference axis which are in opposite directions, in contrast to prior art arrangements in which the said angle is 90‹, Figs. 6 and 8 (not shown). A portable spray gun 14 has a pair of inlets 22, 24, Fig. 2, supplied with pressurized liquids, one liquid being a mixture of a polymer resin and a promoter and the other liquid being a catalyst or a mixture of resin and catalyst. Alternative inlets 30, Fig. 1, may be provided at the rear of the gun. Two separate inlet chambers 34 (only one shown) contain valves to regulate the two supplies, the valves being operated conjointly by a trigger 50 carrying two bifurcated lugs 54 engaged with rods 40. Locking nuts 56 on the respective rods may be adjusted to obtain either simultaneous or sequential opening and closing of the two valves.
