Abstract

1473271 Mounting elevation guides on lift trucks TOWMOTOR CORP 13 Feb 1975 [19 Feb 1974] 6189/75 Headings B8L and B8H Each of a pair of mounting assemblies for a telescopic lift truck mast 26, 28 pivotally attached for tilting about a horizontal axis relative to the truck chassis, comprises a pivot pin 60, 64 releasably retained within a top opening slot 46 in a hanger bracket 44 secured to the truck, by a plate 68 easily accessible from above the pin 60, 64 and between the mast and truck. A square cross-sectional center portion 64 of the pin 60 is received in the straight sided slot 46, whilst the circular sectioned outer ends of the pin are journalled in bearings in a pair of spaced arms 52 of a bracket 50 secured to the mast. The plate 68 is bolted at 70, 72 to the hanger bracket 44.
