Abstract

1472662 Hot beverage dispensers JET SPRAY COOLER Inc 9 Dec 1974 [5 March 1974] 53049/74 Heading A4T A hot beverage dispenser for coffee, chocolate or soup comprises a hot-water tank 20 with an outlet duct 34 leading to a discharge nozzle 14 and a cold water reservoir 50 connected to the tank 20 under control of a float valve 84. The float valve 84 has a seal 88 to control the flow out of the reservoir. The cold water flow is directed by a flange 110 on the float 82 to an annular chamber 102 in the reservoir connected by a duct 62 to the base of the hot-water tank. The tank 20 has an electric heater 24 and a deflector 114 to prevent turbulance in the hot water as the cold water is fed in. The reservoir walls are preferably transparent so that the level in the reservoir can be seen. The powder or liquid flavour concentrate for the beverage is dispensed from a container on a shelf 40.
