1471206 Breeding calendar FARMING PRESS Ltd 5 April 1974 [5 April 1973] 15269/74 Heading G4B A calendar that indicates the likely dates of particular events in an animal's breeding cycle comprises a cover 12 having windows 18 through which the various dates, which are on a slide 11, may be read successively as the slide is moved relative to the cover. The dates are in columns 14 and 15 which are divided into twelve sections 13 representing the calendar months, six being on each side of the slide; the windows 18 are positioned with spacings identical to the sections so that corresponding columns in each section are revealed simultaneously by them. Each section has a column 15 listing the days of the month chronologically, this column giving the possible dates for mating the animal. The row of numbers in the other columns alongside the mating date in the requisite section give the likely dates of the various events. One of the end sections on each side has the various events named alongside the respective column; the windows corresponding to these sections are correspondingly longer. The cover is ruled to provide spaces alongside each row of dates for keeping records of various animals. Space is provided and marked on the cover for recording the Conception Date of various animals.
