1470807 Screened electrical equipment SINGER CO 11 June 1974 25779/74 Heading H1R [Also in Division H2] A screened enclosure 32 for electronic equipment has an opening for passage without interruption of shielded transmission lines 38, conductive frame member 48 disposed over and encompassing the opening containing electrically conductive compressible material 68, 70, 72, 74 having passages through it for the transmission lines, conductive member 80 being slidable within the frame when acted on by screw 82 to compress the material into intimate contact with an exposed peripheral portion of the shielding of the conductors. As shown the passages are constituted by registering semicircular cutouts 68a, 70a, &c., in portions 68, 70 of the compressible material. The blocks of compressible material and spacer blocks 76, 78 are also slidable along frame walls 56, 60. Conductive rubber gasket 65 lies between frame base 50 and enclosure wall 36.
