1469899 Loading dock bridging plates K ALTEN 15 Oct 1975 [13 Nov 1974] 42168/75 Heading B8E A loading dock bridging plate has a slidable extension portion 4 provided with a transverse strut 11 connected to its rear edge by strips 13 secured in slots 12<SP>1</SP> by bolts 15 extending through elongated holes 14. The top surface 12 of the strut 11 is inclined to provide a gradual rise to the exterior 4. When the extension is retracted from the position shown, the strut is engaged by the portion 4 and moved with it.
