Abstract

1469771 Toothed gearing ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO Ltd 2 May 1974 [2 May 1973] 20893/73 Heading F2Q A support means, particularly applicable to a marine transmission arrangement, comprises a base-plate I and a mounting plate 3 which are interconnected by diverging plate members 4 which permit small pivotal movements of a member secured to mounting plate 3 relative to base-plate 1. The plate members 4 preferably are welded to the plates 1, 3, but some plates 4 could be located in slots therein. The plate 3 includes a boss 6, and all the plates 4 lie in planes which pass through a pivotal axis 5. The base-plate 1 has extension pieces 7 welded to intermediate triangular inserts 8.
