1467957 Junction pieces HOKE Inc 20 May 1974 22396/74 Heading F2G A mounting adaptor comprises a support body 12 having a substantially straight first fluid passage 28, the high pressure passage, communicating directly a pressure vessel with a differential pressure sensing mechanism, referred to as a d./p. cell, and a second fluid passage 34, the low pressure passage, communicating the d./p. cell with a screw threaded port 36 at the outer surface of the support body 12. The support body incorporates an external screw threaded portion 14 at one end for connection to the pressure vessel and an integral flange 22 at the other end, for connection to the d./p. cell, including an orienting member 58 in the form of a transverse projecting rib which is received in a depression in the d./p. cell to ensure correct orientation of the cell relative to the mounting adaptor on assembly. The flange 22 may also be provided with a plurality of ports for access to the low pressure passage, unused ports being sealed by plugging. In a second embodiment the high pressure passage including a valve and the high and low pressure passages are connected by a by-pass passage containing a valve. A third embodiment incorporates a purge passage, joining with the high pressure passage and extending to the outer surface of the mounting adaptor, for the introduction of a fluid to purge the mounting adaptor of any corrosive fluid.
