Abstract

1466855 Injection moulding LUCAS BATTERIES Ltd 10 July 1974 [1 June 1973] 26296/73 Heading B5A [Also in Division B3] An injection moulding apparatus comprises mould parts 11 and 12 movable relative to each other, a passage 14 with an opening 15 that is sealed when the parts are closed together, and a source of pressure fluid connected to the passage to give an indication of whether the mould parts are open or closed. The arrangement is connected to a pressure actuable switch 19 which can serve to initiate the moulding or to control mould clamps.
