Abstract

1465544 Packaging laminates INTERNATIONAL PAPER CO 5 Feb 1974 [2 March 1973] 5271/74 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions A5 and B8] A pouch 17 comprises laminated upper and lower sections 31, 30 respectively each having an interior thermoplastic layer, 37 of polypropylene, 35 of polyethylene respectively and an exterior gas impermeable, e.g. aluminium foil, layer 38, 36 respectively. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 6, the pouch sections 61, 62 each have four layers, 63-66, 67-70 respectively the interior two layers of each section, 63, 64, 67, 68 being the same as those of pouch 17, and each gas-impermeable layer 64, 68 having a heat-insulating layer 66, 70 of "Mylar" (Registered Trade Mark), respectively bonded thereto by a polyethylene layer 65, 69 respectively.
