Abstract

1464358 Gating circuits INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 15 April 1975 [22 April 1974 (2)] 15405/75 Heading H3T In an arrangement for compensating for the resistance of an electronic switch RON passing a signal current when closed, a controllable resistance RS and a measuring current source W are connected in series with the switch, the resistance being controlled by a circuit, e.g. differential amplifier KR, which compares the voltage at a point in the series circuit with a reference voltage UR, the arrangement also including an amplifier VT outside the series circuit for amplifying the signal current. If the measuring current is A.C. filters T11, T12 may be provided for by-passing transformers U1, U2 at measuring current frequency, and filter T2 for by-passing the source W at signal current frequencies. If the measuring current source is D.C. Fig. 1 (not shown) it may be by-passed by a capacitor (C). Two arrangements of either type may be used in a balanced system, Figs. 2, 4 (not shown).
