1464284 Combustion of industrial waste L & C STEINMULLER GmbH 22 Jan 1974 43880/75 Divided out of 1464281 Heading F4B A process for the combustion of industrial waste in which waste in containers is delivered to a combustion plant and on arrival the containers are opened and the waste discharged. The discharged waste is then mixed with additives or leaning materials and the mixture then introduced into the plant combustion chamber. Air to the combustion chamber is regulated according to the rate of admission of the mixed waste so that it is burnt up completely. The container contents may be exposed by providing the containers with outlets and compressing them to discharge liquid or paste-like waste. The containers with any solid residues may be fed to a size-reducing machine and the size reduced waste mixed with the mixture of liquid or paste-like waste and the additives prior to introduction into the combustion chamber. The contents of the containers may be exposed in an inert atmosphere.
