Abstract

1463350 Optical fibre termination BOWTHORPE-HELLERMANN Ltd 5 Nov 1975 [5 Dec 1974] 52718/74 Heading G2J The terminal consists of a sleeve 10 dimensioned to accept the bundle 14, and an end element 12 having a tapered bore 12a and a parallel bore 12b accepting the optic fibre bundle. The sheath 14b is stripped as shown and the cable adhesively secured in the sleeve. The element 12 is then threaded on before the adhesive sets.
