1458169 Connector for optical fibres ITT INDUSTRIES Inc 23 Oct 1975 [29 Oct 1974] 43565/75 Heading G2J A two-piece connector has hollow pins 15 receiving the fibre bundle 26a (or a single fibre) and the pins, that are abutted when connected, are slidably and resiliently retained in the sleeve 25 by an O-ring 11 fitting in a groove 23 and engaging a sleeve 19 that in turn is restrained from backward movement by a spring retaining finger 30.
