Abstract
1456155 Reforming catalyst G N MASLYANSKY B B ZHARKOV T M KLIMENKO and S A BARKAN 14 March 1974 [15 March 1973] 11302/74 Heading B1E [Also in Division C5] A naphtha reforming catalyst comprising an aluminium carrier having platinum, cadmium, chlorine and rhenium or iridium deposited thereon. Suitably, the catalyst comprises a gamma-alumina carrier, 0.1 to 1 wt % Pt, 0.1 to 3.0 wt % Cl, 0.5 to 1.0 wt % Cd and 0.1 to 0.5 wt % of Re or Ir. The catalyst may be formed by co-precipitation or impregnation followed by - calcination and hydrogen reduction.
