Abstract

1456077 Lamps J MONTEAGLIDO 11 April 1974 [17 April 1973] 16401/74 Heading F4R [Also in Division G6] An illuminated display device consists of a first opaque panel 10 with perforations 23 receiving facetted translucent coloured studs, and a second parallel translucent panel 18 provided with a patterned mask and/or further perforations and studs, the two panels being reciprocated in front of a light source to give a moving light display. The panels are suspended from tracks 7, 13 by rollers 6, 11, 12 and 14, 15, 16 respectively, and are interconnected by cords 19, 20 via pulleys 21, 22. Motor 1 provides the reciprocatory drive to one of the rollers through crank-arms 3, 4. The device may be mounted with the panels horizontal if further roller supports are provided along the opposite edges. The visible panel may be covered by a transparent sheet with coloured edges which may also be perforated and have studs.
