1455550 Mattresses M HAMASU 31 July 1975 32044/75 Heading A4M A mattress core comprises a plurality of resilient, cylindrical units 3 arranged adjacent each other and secured together by a cord 4, knotted at 5, each unit 3 comprising a rolled up sheet formed from two sheets 6, 7 bonded together and defining therebetween a plurality of sealed, air-filled cavities 2. An elastomeric, expanded layer 9 may be secured to the flat side of the sheet 6.
