Abstract
1454595 Fog-dispersal DOW CHEMICAL CO 15 Feb 1974 6996/74 Heading A1X A method of fog-dispersal comprises discharging into the fog a hygroscopic, water soluble material such as sodium chloride, as an aerosol dispersion in the form of vortex rings of toriodal shape. Other suitable materials for discharge into the fog include calcium, potassium or magnesium chloride, glycerine, ethylene (or diethylene) glycol, urea or a polyalkyleneimine such as polyethyleneimine or polypropyleneimine, the substance having a particle size of between 2 and 100 microns.
