Abstract

1454363 Mixing liquids COLDSTREAM ENG Ltd 7 Dec 1973 [11 Sept 1972] 42113/72 Heading B1C In a liquid mixing device, a mixing head 10 containing an electric motor (12) is mounted on a separately-formed hollow tubular supporting column 14 and carries a mixing shaft 20 rotated by the motor. Switch means for the motor comprises a body 16 housed within the column and an actuating member 26 projecting through a slot 30 in the column wall 28 so that when a container 40 is placed in an operative position under the head 10, see Fig. 2, the switch is actuated. An adjustable supporting bracket 34 for the container may be provided and a cover plate 32 for the switch may also engage the container in use. The head and column may be made from stainless steel.
