Abstract

1452613 Coating apparatus NORDSON CORP 17 Oct 1973 [17 Oct 1972] 48444/73 Addition to 1366363 Heading B2L The coating apparatus of the Parent Application Specification 1366363 is modified in that the gun is held in position by an external fitting comprising a nut 102 which in conjunction with a flange 100 grip the bottom of the housing and allow the gun to expand upwardly due to the high temperatures involved at a rate which may be different from that of the block without causing 'damage. Also the preload tension on spring 80 controlling the valve 65 is given a limiting value by providing a shoulder 85 against which plate 81, urged by bolt 82, can abut.
