Abstract

1450643 Treating yarn skeins with liquid VALD HENRIKSEN AS 12 Feb 1974 [13 Feb 1973] 06367/74 Heading D1T. Skeins of yarn are treated uniformly with a liq. whilst supported on a frame of yarn bars in a container wherein the bars form concentric circular arcs and the spaces between the bars are such that the volume into which the skein may be compressed during treatment is the same for each skein. In the arc of the frame shown in the Fig., which comprises three yarn bars 1, 2 and 3, the areas 4 and 5 around bars 1 and 2 are the same, whilst the area 6 around bar 3 is twice that around bar 1 or 2.
