1447742 Causeway foundation; soil stabilisation FODERVOVNADER 6 Nov 1974 47959/74 Headings E1F and E1H The earth foundation of a causeway includes at least one network of two crossing and connected systems of synthetic fibres, one system consisting of parallel threads 1 of synthetic fibres, the other system consisting of parallel bands 2 of synthetic fibres. The threads are stronger than the fibres of the bands and they extend in the transverse direction of the earth filling whilst the bands extend in the longitudinal direction.
