1447653 Trialkyl-s-trioxanes OGAWA & CO Ltd 14 Dec 1973 [19 Jan 1973 11 June 1973] 58405/73 Heading C2C [Also in Division A5] Triisopropyl-s-trioxane is prepared by the cyclic trimerization of isobutyraldehyde in the presence of cooled sulphuric acid. Tritertiary-butyl-5-trioxane is prepared by the cyclic trimerization of trimethylacetaldehyde using sulphuric acid.
