Abstract

1445302 Pedestals PELTON & CRANE CO 16 May 1974 [17 May 1973] 21883/74 Heading A4H [Also in Division B8] A pedestal for a treatment chair, such as a dental chair, having a standard and associated electrically operable components thereon, comprises a base 36 having a recess 36a' receiving a turn-table 35 therein on ball bearings 35e and retained in position by a boss 36f received in axial opening 35f associated with a bearing 35h and cap 35j. A passageway 40 extends through the base 36 and communicates with an aperture 36f' in the boss 36f to allow passage of an electrical conductor from outside the pedestal through the opening 35f and an aperture 35j' in the cap 35j for connection to the chair (11), Fig. 1 (not shown).
