1445249 Display devices EDUARD MATHAI GmbH & CO KG 21 Oct 1974 [26 Oct 1973] 45453/74 Heading A4T A device for displaying a bunch of fibres 8, e.g. hair samples, comprises at least two parts 1, 2 which are interengageable to define a recess 3, which recess 3 has a region for holding one end 4 of the bunch of fibres and a second region 7 arranged to splay the fibres into a fan-like shape outside the device. The parts 1, 2 may have similar profiles, locating means (5), Fig. 1 (not shown), being provided to align them, or one part may be a flat plate. The device may have an annular or other special configuration, Figs. 4a-4g (not shown), or the samples may be located in inserts, Fig. 4h (not shown). The bunch may be glued into the recess.
