1442763 Making gas rails MAIN GAS APPLIANCES Ltd 3 Sept 1974 [7 Sept 1973] 42255/73 Heading B3A [Also in Division F4] A gas rail fabricated from metal strip or tube comprises a channel 18 closed by a cover 17 which lies between fins, each of which consists of a pair of strips 13, 15 or 14, 16 lying flat against one another and joined to each other, one strip of each pair being joined to the free end of the channel, and the other strip of each pair being flush with cover 17, the latter being pierced at 23 providing a gas supply to a tap 19, and each fin being pierced at 24 for attaching the tap. Gaskets 25, 26 are provided. The rail may be produced by rolling a tube or by fabricating from steel strip.
