Abstract

1442662 Spray producers DIVERSEY Ltd 15 Oct 1974 [16 Oct 1973] 48122/73 Heading B2F A liquid sprayer, particularly for washing tanks, comprises a downwardly directed outlet 21 in a pipe- 20 through which liquid flows, a spinner 22 having a central upstanding frustoconical boss spaced below said outlet, the spinner being mounted on a pin 25 extending therethrough, said pin having its upper tapered end 30 freely located in the outlet and its tapered lower end 27 engaged in a bearing support 24, the spinner thereby being rotatable on impingement of liquid from the outlet thereon about an extrapolation of the outlet axis, and said spinner having upstanding teeth 28 on its upper surface. The spinner is moulded from plastics e.g. polypropylene, the pivot pin being of stainless steel. A passage 29 extends through the boss to allow the passage of liquid to the underside of the spinner.
