Abstract
1442142 Counting articles on conveyers HENRY SIMON Ltd 27 Aug 1974 [14 Nov 1973] 52751/73 Heading B8A [Also in Division H1] Articles C in an overlapped or shingled condition are counted by a switch 18 which is operated by the trailing edges as they pass over a switch operating plunger 17 arranged in a hinged table 13 over which the articles pass and which is resiliently urged upwardly by a spring 14. The plunger 17 and switch are coupled by a cantilever spring 19. A ramp 20 may be arranged on the table 13 so that the trailing edges drop off on to the plunger 17.
