Abstract

1441770 Knitting-machines TELARES CIRCULARES SA 19 Nov 1973 53606/73 Addition to 1248365 Heading D1C The frame for a circular knitting machine disclosed in the parent specification serial no. 1248365, is modified in that the legs of the bottom frame portion 1 do not have interconnecting cross members at their upper ends but instead have gussets 7 which support the legs of the intermediate frame portion 2. A platform 20 is mounted on legs at one side of the frame for carrying machine driving mechanisms. Instead of the upright edges of the frame being stepped as shown they may be continuous each edge having a vertical lower portion and an inwardly inclined upper portion.
