1440382 Pulping by agitation R UTI R ARL 31 May 1973 [22 Feb 1973] 25991/73 Heading B1C [Also in Division D2] A pulper 1 in which paper waste is pulped in water is connected to a sorting apparatus 7 by a first pipe 8 for the pulped material, and a second pipe 4, having a periodically operable reciprocable slide, valve 5, for the unpulpable material. The sorting apparatus 7 has a perforated screen through which the pulp passes to a tank 10, and a conveyor 13 for the foreign matter.
