1438174 Removing binding agents from green refractions VACUUM ENG (SCOTLAND) Ltd 8 Oct 1974 [12 July 1973] 33178/73 Heading C7D [Also in Division B1] The wax binding agent is removed from green compacts, e.g. tungsten carbide or titanium carbide, by heating in a closed chamber to vapourize the wax, extracting the vapour by means of a liquid ring pump wherein the liquid is the same wax as that used as binding agent.
