Abstract

1437275 Spraying HOZELOCK Ltd 22 Jan 1974 [26 Jan 1973] 02872/74 Heading AID [Also in Divisions B2 and F2] A spraying head 13 is rotated about a vertical axis A on a fixed abase 10 by an hydraulic motor 15. Spray from the nozzle 14 is modified by the vertical movement of a rod 44 which is controlled by a cam in the form of a flat annular ring 23 the profile of which is varied by a plurality of studs 25 with claws 31. These studs may be set at any angular position and their height adjusted so that the profile of the cam varies the range of the spray to cover a required area.
