Abstract

1434635 Feeding sheets EASTMAN KODAK CO 7 Nov 1973 [7 Nov 1972] 51686/73 Heading B8R [Also in Division G2] In apparatus for copying radiographs on to microfilm cards, a cartridge 104 of the cards 24 is loaded into the machine and opened, the cards are pushed to the top of the cartridge by a screwdriven clamp 116, and are picked up one at a time by vacuum cups 50 which have associated pins 185 for operating 9 card buckling mechanism 186, 190, 192, 194 to separate the top card from the stack. The cups 50 are carried by a turret 46 which is rotated to transport the cards between loading, aligning, exposing, developing, fixing/washing, drying and exit stations 58, 60, 62, 84, 86, 68, 88; aligning station 60 having movable tabs 82. The invention relates to reclosing the cartridge in the copier in a lighttight manner so that it can be removed without spoiling unexposed cards (see Division G2).
