Abstract

1433394 Dispensing sensitivity discs on to agar medium ANVAR AGENCE NATIONALE DE VALORISATION DE LA RECHERCHE 31 Aug 1973 [5 Sept 1972 9 Feb 1973] 41130/73 Heading C6F A disc distributer comprises a base 212 with passages 223 extending therethrough, a tube carrier unit 254 which carries a number of tubes 35 of discs equal to the number of passages and which also carries ejection rods mounted in tubes 262 so that a disc is removed from the bottom of a tube at a passage by movement of the tube carrier horizontal to the base, which movement brings an ejection rod over said passage, and is ejected from the device by downward movement of the tube carrier relative to the base. A number of such apparant uses are comprehensively described and illustrated.
