Abstract
1430837 Electric couplings SIEMENS AG 26 June 1973 [24 Aug 1972] 30344/73 Heading H2E [Also in Division C7] A workpiece holder useful in electroplating comprises an annular or elongated body 9 of insulating synthetic plastics material, having integral gripping portions for the metal articles 3 to be treated, e.g. the channels formed by ribs 10, wherein the articles can be slideably displaced in a lateral direction. A metal insert 11, which may be a strip, wire or spirally wound element, extends through the body to form electrical connections for the articles. An external connection is provided at 12. Contact may be improved by spring tongues 13 punched at each contact location. Ribs 10 may be replaced by holes through the body.
