1429726 Delivering sheets XEROX CORP 19 Dec 1973 [29 Dec 1972 (2)] 58832/73 Heading B8R The subject-matter is the same as that of co-pending Application 58829/73, except that the plate members (262) and associated mechanism are omitted, and that switches (258, Figs. 3 and 4, not shown) are referred to, which engage tab portions (259) on the receptacles so as to determine the location of receptacles relative to the sheet receiving zone and to prevent overindexing of the receptacles. The claims are directed to the means whereby each receptacle is moved relatively to the preceding receptacle so as to assume alternatively positions closer to and further from the preceding receptacle.
