1428585 Cleaning polymerization vessels GRANTLEY CO 18 June 1974 26873/74 Heading C3P [Also in Division C7] Polymerization vessels containing deposits of PVC are cleaned by contact with a solvent mixture of 15% (wt.) of dimethyl sulphoxide and 85% of methyl ethyl ketone. The resultant solution may be used for impregnating or coating materials or the polymer may be recovered by adding water.
