1427992 Safety helmet accessories STADIUM LTD 14 Jan 1974 [15 Jan 1973] 2080/73 Heading A3V [Also in Division E2] An accessory e.g. a visor may be attached by press studs 22 to a curved outer band 12 which is pivoted at its ends to another curved inner band 10, which is attached to a helmet by pressing chamfered holes 15, 16, 17 over protruding press studs on the helmet. When the outer band is lowered protrusions 24 engage in slots 28 in the inner band to secure them together. The bands may be of plastics or metal.
