Abstract

1425814 Telescopic building H S WHITWORTH 10 Jan 1974 01283/74 Heading E1A An extensible building comprises an extension including a roof and wall arranged to fit over the roof and wall of a fixed part of the building in the retracted position, the wall of the extension having wheels arranged to move along guide rails parallel to the wall of the fixed part to an extended position wherein one of the wheels is received in a depression 10 in the rails. The extension may be a free-standing building, Fig. 1, or a leanto with the roof having either slide means 26 engaging a slide attached to a fixed building or wheels engaging a track on the fixed building. The lean-to may include a second wall 37 pivoted to the slide 26 so as to be securable by a clip 21 to the roof in the retracted position.
