Abstract

1422152 Respiratory masks T U P (PANAMA) SA 11 Jan 1973 [28 Jan 1972] 4015/72 Heading A5T [Also in Division G2] A nose mask device for protecting the wearer thereof from undesirable atmospheric conditions, comprises: a perforate portion 28 for underlying the nose of the wearer and for supporting an air-treatment pad; arms 31 connecting the perforate portion to a browpiece 32; and side pieces 34 arranged to pass above the ears of the wearer. The air-treatment pad for use with the nose mask device may be impregnated with an absorbent, a perfume, or a medicament. The illustrated device includes optical lenses 33. The device of Fig. 4, (not shown), has side pieces (39) terminating in hair-engaging fingers (40).
