Abstract

1420762 Developing HOECHST AG 19 Dec 1972 [24 Dec 1971 16 Oct 1972] 58553/72 Heading G2H In an electro-photographic apparatus the development electrode 11 is mounted for adjustment relative to the photo-conductive surface on drum 1. As shown the electrode is carried in slots 20 on radial arms 17 so that it may move normal to the surface of the drum and also pivot about axis 14. Insulating wheels 15 and 15' serve to space the electrode from the surface against the action of springs 21 and 21', thereby enabling the electrode to be self-adjusting. In a further form, Figs.5 and 6 (not shown), the electrode is adjustable manually by means of adjusting screws.
