Abstract

1419385 Maddrell's salt BENCKISERKNAPSACK GmbH 11 Dec 1972 [11 Dec 1971] 57089/72 Heading C1A Maddrell's salt is made by dehydrating monosodium phosphate at a temperature of from 300 to 380‹ C. in an atmosphere composed substantially of steam. Preferably the starting material has a bulk density of 700 to 800 g./l. and is heated in layers having a thickness of up to 45 mm. in a drier operating with recirculated air.
