1418334 Fluidised bed apparatus UNISEARCH LTD 25 April 1973 [27 April 1972 6 April 1973] 19671/73 Heading BIF [Also in Division F4] In a fluidised bed apparatus, fluid flow is cyclically interrupted by rotating member 13, Fig. 2, or reciprocating member 21, Fig. 3, so that a uniform bed is maintained and the net fluid flow is maintained constant. The apparatus may be used for heat exchange, coating and agglomeration.
