Abstract

1414777 Laminated label sheet WALSALL SECURITY PRINTERS Ltd 9 Jan 1973 [12 Jan 1972] 1353/72 Heading B5N [Also in Division B8] A laminated sheet comprises a base sheet 2 treated with a silicone release agent and a printed facing sheet 1 provided with a selfadhesive layer on its inner face adjacent the base sheet, mutually-perpendicular rows 3 and 4 of perforations or rouletting extending through both the base and facing sheets to enable severing of the sheet into discrete parts, and lines of severance 7 extending through the facing sheet only and dividing the facing sheet of each discrete part into a separable stamp or label 5 and a remaining waste portion, the lines or severance permitting the peeling-off of the respective stamp or label whilst leaving the waste portion still adhered to the sheet. In modifications Figs. 3 and 4, the separable portions are in the form of rectangular or irregular die-cut portions 13 or 16. The sheet may be provided with printed marginal portions 6. The base and facing sheets may be of paper, plastics, or celluloid.
