Abstract
1414759 Dimorpholino compounds SOC ANON ROURE BERTRAND DUPONT 10 May 1974 [11 May 1973] 20761/74 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are H or C 1 -C 3 alkyl. The compounds are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula with a molar excess of morpholine. The compounds may be hydrated to give the corresponding 7-hydroxy compound and then the dimorpholino protecting group removed to give a compound of the formula This compound may subsequently be hydrogenated to give the corresponding saturated hydroxy aldehyde.
