1405294 Garbage disposal; cement manufacture ASSOCIATED PORTLAND CEMENT MFRS Ltd 27 July 1973 [27 July 1972] 35283/72 Headings C1H and C1K Portland cement raw materials are fed into one end of a rotary kiln whilst fuel containing up to 60% of air borne pulverized municipal refuse is blown into the burning zone with air at the opposite side, the raw materials being proportioned to allow for the ash from the burned refuse. The refuse feed rate is separately controlled from the other feed rates.
