Abstract

1402828 Hologram RCA CORPORATION 2 March 1973 [13 March 1972] 10397/73 Heading G2J The diffraction efficiency of a hologram formed in a spacially modulated thermoplastic may be increased by uniformly charging the surface of the hologram and then heating the layer to minus the deformation. The hologram may initially be made by forming an interference pattern on a charged thermoplastic layer to affect the distribution of the charge, and heating the layer to allow it to assume a non-planar form.
