Abstract

1401824 Tobacco substitutes GALLAHER LTD 13 June 1973 [23 June 1972] 29583/72 Heading A2C [Also in Division C3] A tobacco substitute is made by oxidising cellulose into a polyanhydroglucerrenic acid by treatment with ruthenium tetroxide. The substitute may be blended with flavouring agent, combustion-modifying substances, natural and reconstituted tobacco.
