Abstract

1400590 Knotting machines MESDAN DI MESSA PIETRO 26 Sept 1972 [6 Oct 1971] 44313/72 Heading D1C A thread knotting device in a box 5 has a lid-like seal 1 which seals the slots through which the operating levers 8 and 13 protrude and move. The seal 1 has a pair of flexible edges 9, 10 to seal one slot 7, and a flexible lip 14 and an inclined wing 15 to seal the other. The seal may be made of elastic synthetic plastics or rubber.
